Several additional programs within New York State and a related program in California may be of interest to organizations with an interest in NYTVIP.

  • New York City Clean Trucks Program (NYCCTP)Link opens in new window - close new window to return to this page. provides vehicle rebates for new trucks operating in New York City industrial business zones (IBZs) to replace older, more polluting trucks. Eligible truck fleets qualifying for incentives through NYCCTP are not also eligible for incentives through NYTVIP.
  • Drive Clean Rebate for Electrical Cars Program offers point-of-sale rebate toward the purchase or lease of a new plug-in hybrid or battery-powered electric car that can be paired with other Federal or State tax incentives.

  • California’s Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP)Link opens in new window - close new window to return to this page. provides point-of-sale voucher incentives to truck and bus fleets in California for all-electric, hydrogen fuel cell, electric power takeoff (ePTO), and low-NOx natural gas vehicles, similar to NYTVIP.
  • New York State Alternative Fuels and Electric Vehicle Recharging Property Credit: Individuals and businesses paying tax in New York State are eligible for a tax credit of 50% (up to $5000) for investments in new alternative fuels vehicle refueling property or electric vehicle recharging property for tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2013.
