About Clean Green Campuses

 

NYSERDA’s Clean Green Campuses initiative (formerly REV Campus Challenge) launched in 2015 with the goal of engaging New York State’s colleges and universities to help realize New York's strategy to build a clean, resilient, and affordable energy system for all New Yorkers. Clean Green Campuses includes a membership network of two- and four-year public and private colleges and universities in New York State exploring ways to lower carbon emissions and contribute to a just energy transition on their campuses and surrounding communities. There is no cost to join Clean Green Campuses, and member institutions have no requirements or obligations after joining. Clean Green Campuses aims to support New York’s higher education institutions and their clean energy and sustainability efforts by: 

Personnel 
Membership in a network of like-minded institutions from all regions of the state

Access to NYSERDA’s funding opportunities that support clean energy planning, design, and implementation projects

Assistance with navigating NYSERDA and utility programs and completing program applications
Megaphone
Receive ongoing newsletters and updates regarding new funding opportunities, trainings, events, and information about higher education clean energy projects
