FlexTech (Clean Green Campuses-Exclusive Offerings): Covers 60%-75% of costs for activities like energy audits, energy master plans, electrification analysis, and indoor air quality studies. You’ll work with energy consultants to create customized assessments that identify site-specific opportunities for your campus to reduce energy use and utility costs. Additional funding is available to support student interns, curriculum development, and creation of student clean energy engagement opportunities.
On-site Energy Manager: Receive up to $200,000 to hire an on-site energy manager for your campus to identify and implement energy conservation measures—and get additional incentives if the energy savings identified enable you to keep the energy manager permanently.
Strategic Energy Management: Offers free training on optimizing energy use through business operations and continuous improvement approaches.
Commercial New Construction: Offers technical and financial support for new or substantially renovated buildings designed to carbon-neutral and all-electric. NYSERDA and consultants will work with your team to analyze energy efficient and low-carbon opportunities.
Building Operations and Maintenance Training: Receive up to $400,000 to support the implementation of an on-site training program for your facilities and operations staff to enhance their ability to manage buildings in accordance with energy management best practices.
Energy Efficiency & Clean Technology Training: Provides funding to training providers for energy efficiency and clean technology training, education, and professional development programs.
Clean Transportation: Offers resources and incentives for purchasing electric vehicles.
