Work History
Audrey Zibelman is an internationally recognized energy transition leader with over 35 years of legal, regulatory, operations, government and governance leadership in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Australia. She is an experienced energy transition visionary with a passion for focusing on using technology, regulatory and market innovation to support consumer benefit, equity, and engagement in the energy transition.
During her executive career, Audrey led organizations in the private and public energy sector that were at the heart of the energy transition. Audrey served as the Managing Director and CEO of the Australian Energy Market Operator, Chair of the New York Public Service Commission, Executive Vice President of PJM, Founder and CEO of Viridity Energy and executive at Xcel Energy. Her most recent operating role was as a Vice President and Advisor to X, formerly known as Google’s Moonshot Factory.
Boards
She currently is Chair of the Board of Landis & Gyr, a global advanced metering company and is a member of the Board of Directors of Squadron Energy an Australian Renewable Energy Company and EWEC, the Emirates Water and Electric Company. She also is Co-Chair of the PEW Charitable Trust Advisory Council on Distributed Energy Resources (DER) adoption, a strategic advisor to Alvarez and Marsel and an Advisor to Aligned Climate Capital.
Audrey was an appointed member of President Biden’s National Infrastructure Advisory Council and the U.S. Department of Energy's Electric Advisory Committee and over her career has served on regional and national Boards responsible for reliability and the energy transition in the United States and Australia.
