Affordable Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program (AMEEP)

Incentives for Downstate Affordable Multifamily Buildings

The New York State Affordable Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program (AMEEP) is a combined effort of the Joint Utilities of New York and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).

The program offers incentives for the installation of energy efficient equipment and technology to downstate affordable multifamily buildings with five or more units. This equipment and technology can reduce the overall energy use and maintenance costs while increasing operating efficiencies and improving tenant comfort.

Need Upstate Incentives? While the Upstate New York AMEEP is closed, we now offer the Affordable Multifamily Program Upstate (AMP Up) -- a new initiative designed to support energy efficiency and building electrification in affordable multifamily housing.
