Clean Transportation Community Resources
NYSERDA's New York Clean Transportation Prize (NYCTP) program helps communities identify and implement clean transportation solutions. While the Prize competition itself is now closed, we're building on what was learned through the funded projects to offer self-guided, step-by-step resources—so other communities can put those same solutions to work.
What These Resources Offer
The solutions covered here can improve access to clean transportation in underserved communities while keeping user costs low, improving air quality, and reducing long-term maintenance costs for fleet operators. The resources will help you to:
- Learn about and advocate for clean transportation solutions in your own community.
- Formulate a project, including the concrete steps involved in getting started.
- Learn from other communities that have successfully implemented clean transportation solutions.
- Build technical familiarity with the solutions themselves.
