Charger Superhub to Connect Residents to Employment and E-Transit Options

Revel endeavored to build a multi-use electric vehicle (EV) charging hub and community center in Brooklyn accessible to the general public, ride hail drivers and mopeds. Revel completed an assessment of the selected site in the Red Hook neighborhood as a first phase of the project and encountered site constraints that made the project infeasible. Due to changes to Revel’s business model and the identified site limitation difficulties, NYSERDA and Revel agreed to conclude the Red Hook Recharge Zone participation in the NY Clean Transportation Prizes Project in December 2025.
