Emily Jamieson
Emily Jamieson was named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Internal Control Officer of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) in April 2026.
In this position, Ms. Jamieson helps to deliver on NYSERDA’s mission in a fiscally responsible manner. She is responsible for budgeting, financial reporting and analysis, accounting operations, treasury management, utility conduit bond financing, residential/small commercial financing solutions, and internal controls.
Work History
Ms. Jamieson previously served as CFO of New York State’s Environmental Facilities Corporation (EFC), which is the State’s water infrastructure bank.
Prior to joining EFC, she served as Assistant Chief Budget Examiner at the NYS Division of the Budget (DOB) in the Mental Hygiene Unit. In this role she oversaw the budgets for five agencies totaling approximately $5 billion.
Previous positions at DOB focused on capital and debt, and performance management. In the Capital and Debt Unit, Ms. Jamieson was involved in all aspects of the State’s capital budgeting process, including the issuance of personal income tax bonds and sales tax bonds. She worked on spending models for the State’s statutory debt limit, evaluated and executed improvements to the State capital planning process, and served as Secretary to the Local Government Assistance Corporation.
Education
Ms. Jamieson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
