Work History

Sukanya Paciorek

Sukanya Paciorek is the executive vice president of asset management at the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation, a not-for-profit organization that manages the development and operations of the 300-acre industrial and manufacturing complex in Brooklyn, NY. In this role, Ms. Paciorek oversees the leasing, operations, property management, and IT departments—including the yard’s maintenance, energy infrastructure, and utilities management efforts.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Paciorek was the senior vice president of corporate sustainability at Vornado Realty Trust where she managed the company’s energy and utilities group in New York and led energy efficiency efforts nationwide. Additionally, Ms. Paciorek previously worked for the U.S. Department of State and has extensive experience in the energy industry.


Ms. Paciorek holds a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs where she studied international energy management and policy. She earned an undergraduate degree in international studies and political science from Ohio State University.
