August Ninth Analyses
Lola Software Solutions has reinvented the way to automate batch manufacturing. By stepping up and embedding complexity into its core products, ANA has virtually eliminated the “learning burden” for its customers. Users can concentrate on their production instead of electronics or programming. Now factories that used to rely on outside contractors can do everything themselves. Plant managers who always thought automation is beyond their reach can quickly generate quantum leaps in productivity - almost immediately. All this is accomplished while using existing plant staff regardless of educational background.
The product line includes the unique DART controller, so clear that it can be self-installed; the UDI software, that can be mastered in a few hours; a portable – almost self-operational - optical analyzer to provide batch status; and TripSaver, a sophisticated data streaming system that enables ANA to be on-site (virtually) whenever needed.

H2Pump LLC
H2Pump LLC is a Latham, NY-based company (H2Pump) developing a proprietary hydrogen recovery system that can efficiently and cost effectively recover and recycle by-product hydrogen for a variety of applications.
Hydrogen Recovery System
The H2 Pump “3-in-1” hydrogen recovery system combines electrochemical technology, with a proprietary system design, to efficiently separate hydrogen from other gases, purify it, and “pump” it back into the original feed stream, or to another site specific process.
H2Pump's electrochemical hydrogen recovery and pumping technology utilizes a process whereby hydrogen is actively removed from a mixed feed gas (e.g. Industrial furnace exhaust) producing a high purity hydrogen gas stream while the rest of the exhaust gasses passes through as waste (see below). H2Pump's hydrogen recovery system is being designed as a turn-key system that can integrate seamlessly into a heat-treating operation with an ability to cost effectively scale down, or up, enabling effective integration with a single furnace, or a series of furnaces, and thereby minimize infrastructure changes. In many cases simple plumbing is all that is required.

Hubbell Galvanizing
In 1925, Orville William Hubbell founded O.W. Hubbell & Sons, Inc. He developed a highway safety company, fabricating and installing highway guardrail and signs. The steel portions of these products had to be galvanized. In 1968, to meet productions needs, the company built their own hot dip galvanizing plant.
The galvanizing plant has expanded capabilities. Their galvanizing kettle size is 4 ft. wide x 43 ft. long x 6 ft. deep. They operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They have the powder coating and hot dip galvanizing facilities in one location.
At O. W. Hubbell and Sons are constantly searching for ways to minimize their environmental impact, reduce resource use, and increase environmental sustainability. They do this by managing the materials we purchase and reuse of those materials during our manufacturing process.
