    Vouchers make it easier than ever to replace old trucks or buses in your fleet with state-of-the-art clean vehicle technology. As an eligible fleet, purchasing an eligible all-electric or alternative fuel vehicle from a participating dealer (the “Contractor”) through NYTVIP brings the price you pay for a clean vehicle close to what you would pay for a new diesel truck or bus.

    A Vehicle Dealer is the party responsible for the sale and delivery of an eligible vehicle to the end user (Vehicle Purchaser or Vehicle Operator). Because Dealers are the entities that ultimately receive voucher payments from NYSERDA, they are referred to in NYTVIP as “Contractors.”

  • Voucher Funding Sources and Requirements
    NYTVIP receives funding from partnerships between NYSERDA and the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC). NYSDOT works with NYSERDA to administer a portion of New York State’s allocation of funds from the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) program.
