Energy Efficiency and Clean Technology Training

Energy Efficiency and Clean Technology Training supports organizations across the state providing training and experience to workers in clean energy businesses. They will develop and implement training programs to ensure workers have the technical skills and hands-on experience that businesses need, while providing job preparation and placement assistance.

  • Trade associations
  • Community-based organizations
  • Technical high schools
  • Training and job placement intermediaries

Training organizations who submit a successful proposal will receive funding to develop and/or deliver training. Additionally, these organizations will also assist workers by reducing employment barriers and creating career pathways.

Incentives and Funding

A minimum of $7 million is available in multiple rounds for projects. Proposals will be accepted between $50,000 and $250,000. Additional funding may be added to successful projects after the original contract award, increasing the maximum total per project. Projects are anticipated to be completed within approximately two years.
