The Clean Energy Action Plan provides relief for businesses and residents affected by a natural gas constraint. Through the plan, the State will help:
- Lower energy costs for consumers
- Promote economic development
- Provide additional resources for community awareness and support
As part of this plan, the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority (NYSERDA) is offering increased incentives for programs to help communities, businesses, and individuals access reliable clean energy alternatives to natural gas.
The Clean Energy Action Plan applies to Con Edison customers in Southern Westchester County and NYSEG customers in the town of Lansing, NY. To be eligible to participate in NYSERDA’s programs, you must currently pay into the System Benefits Charge.
In addition to NYSERDA programs, NYPA
will provide additional financing services to its customers. Con Edison
support is also available.
Check your eligibility and see how NYSERDA can help.
