Project Description

Sea Park North is a 179,779 square foot new construction project providing an 8-story, 250-unit affordable senior housing in Coney Island, Brooklyn, located within a New York State designated disadvantaged community, an Environmental Justice area and designated as a Clean Energy Community. The development emphasizes flood resilience by elevating the building 10 feet above grade and using durable materials, with the goal of achieving Passive House, Enterprise Green Communities, and Zero-Energy Ready Home certifications. It will feature all-electric systems powered partially by a rooftop solar array, electric vehicle charging stations, bike storage, and a building management system promoting sustainability and resilience against climate change, while offering terraces, gardens, fitness and lounge spaces promoting an active lifestyle for residents.
