NYSERDA, together with EnSave and Cornell Cooperative Extension, is committed to providing the tools and resources farms across New York State need to make informed decisions that will help save money, boost productivity, and improve operations.

Energy-related agricultural best practice recommendations are now available to farms. These cost-saving resources provide:

  • Recommendations for energy-efficient technologies
  • Alternate modes of operation
  • Conservation practices to optimize energy use
  • Easy access to funding resources

Ag Energy NY provides sector-specific best practices, resources, and tools to help farmers identify and adopt energy efficiency practices that can save energy costs without harming productivity.

Ag Energy NY supports the Cattle and Beef, Crops and Vegetable, Cross-farm Sector, Grain Processing, Maple Sugaring, Orchards and Vineyards, Poultry and Eggs, Swine Management sectors.
