NYSERDA is powering a Roadtrip Nation initiative to send a team of young people out to explore clean energy career opportunities in New York State. Along the way, the road trippers will interview a diverse array of professionals throughout the state about how they found their way into the world of clean energy and learn about the exciting work they do.

In order to fulfill the project's overall mission, NYSERDA and Roadtrip Nation have launched the Clean Energy Portal . The Clean Energy Portal is a website designed to help local career seekers and young adults explore their interests and find viable clean energy career paths in New York State.

Within the site, New Yorkers can get advice and guidance from professionals, explore local career opportunities, and get a sneak peek of what exciting clean energy career paths are in development now. Through video interviews, actionable resources, and more, the Clean Energy Portal will help provide the tools and inspiration needed to pursue a clean energy career journey.

  Five-lesson digital career exploration course helps career seekers improve their social-emotional learning skills, all while they explore their interests, learn how to overcome self-doubt, and take steps to pursue the career path of their choice.
