BR Caswell Road Solar

The Build-Ready Program is advancing a solar PV and battery energy storage project on the Caswell Landfill, a publicly-owned solid waste complex in the Town of Dryden, Tompkins County. The landfill opened in 1970 and took in an average of 29,400 tons of waste per year until its closure in 1985. The site is now closed, capped and under on-going monitoring. The site is 175 acres and has approximately 75 buildable acres. The Build-Ready Program is progressing with efforts to secure site control, environmental diligence, interconnection request preparations, and continued engagement with the host community.
