Combined Residential Application

The Combined Residential Application allows residents to apply for energy efficiency incentives through either the Assisted Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® or EmPower New York program. These programs are available for income-eligible owners and renters of 1-to-4 family homes and provide no-cost energy audits and incentives toward making your home more comfortable and energy efficient.

NYSERDA is also making available EmPower income eligibility screening using a household's geographic location. If your home is located in a pre-screened area, there is no need to submit income documentation as part of the application. See if you are in a geographically-eligible pre-screened territory.

When you apply for the program, you will have the opportunity to select a participating program contractor or the program can assign one for you. If you are working with a NYSERDA energy advisor, you will be able to select them and they will be able to follow the progress of your application and project.
