To help support the State’s ambitious energy goals, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced a nation-leading 1,500 MW energy storage target for New York State by 2025. This commitment will provide roughly $2 billion in benefits to New Yorkers and avoid more than one million metric tons of CO2 emissions. By 2030, New York will have even more energy storage on the grid and achieve greater benefits including creating approximately 30,000 jobs in this burgeoning sector.

To help evaluate, develop, or implement storage technologies, or are a potential energy storage customer, New York State has a wealth of resources for you.
