On January 26, NYSERDA received a robust response to New York’s third offshore wind solicitation, with more than 100 total proposals for eight new projects from six offshore wind developers – representing a record-setting level of competition among East Coast states. NYSERDA is working to advance the responsible and cost-effective development of at least 9,000 MW of offshore wind energy by 2035, a key part of the State’s ambitious clean energy transition.
