New York’s Third Offshore Wind Solicitation

The State is fast approaching the third offshore wind procurement, ORECRFP22-1. To date, New York has five offshore wind projects and five ports under active development. With over 4,300 MW of offshore energy procured the State is nearly halfway toward the 9,000 MW goal. New York’s current offshore wind project portfolio represents the largest suite of offshore wind projects under active development in the nation.

About Offshore Wind

As a national leader in clean energy policy, New York is emerging as the hub for the United States’ growing offshore wind energy industry.
