Community Adder

NYSERDA offers an additional upfront incentive for eligible Community Solar projects located in certain utility territories. The Adder is available for a limited number of MW for projects that were developed after a utility’s Market Transition Credit and Community Credit were fully allocated. Community Adder eligibility is shown below. Details on the Community Adder, including application criteria and eligibility, are included in the NY-Sun Program Manual. Adder rates and availability are dependent on in which utility service territory the project is located.
