New York State Programs & Incentives

Flexible Technical Assistance (FlexTech) Program—Financial support for completing an energy study to identify and evaluate opportunities to reduce energy costs and incorporate clean energy into capital planning. Federal Programs & Incentives

Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)— Businesses can access IRA tax credits for energy efficiency investments in commercial building retrofits or new construction projects, including efficient lighting and controls. Learn more.

Central Hudson Programs & Incentives

Commercial Lighting Audit—Free, no-obligation lighting audits for small business customers (under 120 kW of demand). Once the audit is complete, Central Hudson will pay up to 70 percent of the cost of the lighting project. Learn more.

Commercial Lighting Prescriptive Rebates—Professional and technical support from a Central Hudson Trade Ally for upgrading your lighting to LEDs. Learn more.

Instant Lighting Incentives—Instant rebates for purchasing LED lighting products through participating distributors. Products are discounted instantly, with no additional rebate form or application. Learn more.

Lighting and Controls Rebates—Rebates for installing interior and exterior LED lighting and controls. Learn more.

Savings for Multifamily Buildings – Equipment rebates for multifamily buildings, including HVAC, lighting and controls, weatherization, energy management systems, and low flow measures. Additional savings for income-eligible buildings. Learn more.

National Grid Programs & Incentives

Multifamily Program (Upstate) – National Grid offers Upstate multifamily customers a free energy evaluation, incentives for weatherization measure, rebates and incentives for LED lighting, and free installation of low-flow showerhead, faucet aerators, and wraps for hot water piping and tanks. Learn more.

Small Business Program - No-cost facility audits for small business customers (with a 12 -month average under 110kW) and direct installation of energy efficiency measures. This program includes convenient payment options (e.g., on-bill or third party financing). Learn more.

Tiered Incentive Program (Upstate New York)—Up to 25 percent in financial incentives to complete a number of energy efficiency projects (including lighting upgrades) for large commercial and industrial customers. The more projects completed, the higher the incentives. Learn more.
