A monthly newsletter that covers major Statewide updates specifically on - E.O. #22 and its working groups, and the GreenNY Program in general.
 
Working Groups:
Supports the development of reporting forms and processes. Additionally, it will assess, aggregate, and interpret the reported data; create narrative explanations; and shepherd the development of an annual summary "Report of Progress" for the Governor.
 
Supports the encouragement and promotion of sustainable agency operations. It also connects Sustainability Coordinators to each other so the already successful efforts taking place within NYS agencies can be replicated.
 
Supports the ongoing work of GreenNY specification development. Also responsible for developing green specifications for GreenNY Council approval in order to serve all affected State entities.
 
Develops pathways for NYS to meet Climate Act goals and E.O. #22 goals of converting the State’s light-duty fleet to ZEVs by 2035. Convenes monthly.
 
Develops the technical guidance and supports pathways of compliance with the E.O. #22 directive for renewable electricity.
 
Develops guidance for embodied carbon on high intensity materials used in construction projects. It also instructs Affected Entities to capture Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and other data points.
 
Develops the waste diversion plan template and guidance for waste reduction in line with E.O. #22 goals.
