CHP Luncheon: Enhance Your Building’s Power Reliability
Dana Levy, Brian Smyser, Davetta Thacher all from NYSERDA are speaking at this event.
NYSERDA is a sponsor of this event.
Post-Sandy, forward-thinking building owners and managers are taking action to ensure the delivery of critical services. They understand all too well the importance of keeping the lights on, the elevators running, and water flowing. And, should the next wide-scale grid outage happen during the deep freeze of winter, on-site electricity is essential to operating boilers and keeping pipes from bursting.
New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and Solar One invite building owners and property managers to learn how a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system generates electricity, and can help save money while keeping the lights on when the grid goes down. Hear how your building could benefit from installing a CHP system, and how to take advantage of $100 million worth of incentives available for CHP through NYSERDA’s complementary pair of CHP programs -- the CHP Acceleration Program (PON 2568) and the CHP Performance Program (PON 2701).
