Technical Documents to Support MF NCP Participation

The Multifamily New Construction Program (MF NCP) offers technical assistance and financial incentives to developers of mid- and high-rise multifamily projects to encourage and support the design and construction of advanced clean energy buildings, and up to and inclusive of net zero energy performance.

The information provided below is intended to support participation in MF NCP. The following documents must be submitted to NYSERDA as outlined in the MF NCP Guidelines:

Please reference the MF NCP Guidelines for more detailed information regarding these documents.

Modified Prescriptive Path

Compliance Path: Modified Prescriptive Path
Submittal Deadline: Stage 1: Modified Prescriptive Path Calculator Submittal; Stage 3: As-Built Submittal

For projects pursuing the Modified Prescriptive Path (MoPP), the completed Modified Prescriptive Path Calculator [XLMS] must be included within the Stage 1 and Stage 3 submittal packages. This calculator includes a checklist intended to confirm that all Modified Prescriptive Path Requirements and ENERGY STAR MFHR Testing & Verification Protocols are met. It also calculates estimated savings based on project‐specific data.

The submittal must show that the project achieves the performance target and meets the requirements described in the Modified Prescriptive Path Requirements and ENERGY STAR MFHR Testing & Verification Protocol.

If a technical waiver is being sought, please submit a completed Modified Prescriptive Path Requirements Waiver Request form [PDF].

For details on the Modified Prescriptive Path submittal requirements, refer to Section 7.1 of the MF NCP Guidelines.
