Community Energy Resources are making it easier for community members to participate in NYSERDA’s energy efficiency programs. These 12 constituency-based organizations (CBOs) are prepared to help homeowners, renters, small businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and multifamily building owners through the process of improving energy efficiency of their home or building. They are local, accessible organizations ready to help you make the most of what NYSERDA has to offer.
Homeowners and renters
Your CBO can help you find a participating contractor to perform an energy assessment. The assessment looks at your whole home to identify the biggest potential energy efficiency gains and bill savings. The result is a top-to-bottom look at energy waste along with a customized report outlining energy improvements.
Contact your CBO to help you through the process of qualifying for and participating in one of NYSERDA’s residential energy efficiency programs.
Small businesses and not-for-profits
Does your small business or not-for-profit organization need help to participate in programs that make it simple and affordable to reduce your energy use? Contact your CBO for assistance.
Multifamily building owners and developers
Get started with NYSERDA’s Multifamily Performance Program, which helps building owners cut energy waste in their buildings and offers developers support to build energy-efficient new construction. Your CBO can help.
