Awards Announced

2023 Offshore Wind Solicitation

On February 29, 2024, Governor Hochul announced the result of NYSERDA’s fourth offshore wind solicitation, in alignment with the State’s 10-Point Action Plan. The conditionally awarded projects are Empire Wind 1 (planned 810 MW) and Sunrise Wind (planned 924 MW). For more details, visit New York’s Offshore Wind Projects webpage.
