NYSERDA prequalifies real time energy management (RTEM) vendors, installers, and services providers who can:

  • Provide commercial customers with ways to monitor and optimize energy usage
  • Deliver energy efficiency services

Benefits

Qualified RTEM vendors will be listed on NYSERDA’s website. Commercial customers must pick from the listed vendors to participate in the upcoming RTEM program. Qualified vendors will also have free access through NYSERDA to continuous market intelligence to stay at the cutting edge of RTEM. Qualified vendors will have access technical guidance documents comprised of empirical project data, including:

  • New technologies
  • Installation and maintenance strategies
  • Energy efficient savings

Who Can Apply

NYSERDA is qualifying RTEM vendors for commercial customers as one or both of the following:

  • RTEM System Providers - installers of monitoring hardware and software
  • RTEM Service Providers - monitoring and analytics

Firms interested in applying may include, but are not limited to system providers, energy service companies (ESCOs), energy consultants, and engineering companies. Firms must demonstrate they can successfully provide customers with ways to monitor energy use, provide optimization, and deliver energy efficiency services.
