Assistance for Multi-Unit Homeowners
Owners of two-to-four unit residential homes can also benefit from Assisted Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®.
An income-qualified owner living in the building may receive a discount of up to $5,000 to pay for a portion of the cost of improvements to the whole- building without any income verification required from the tenants. A larger discount, up to a total of $10,000 per building, may be available if tenants are income-qualified.
Use the chart below to determine the percentage of the costs of eligible energy improvements you can qualify for based on the number of income-eligible units and total units in your building.
