The NYSERDA Report Format and Style Guide [PDF] explains how to prepare a technical report for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), including typesetting and formatting procedures, and provides electronic data-transfer information.
The finished report deliverable will be published by NYSERDA. Please direct questions about format and style to Diane Welch of NYSERDA’s Marketing Services unit at: (518) 862-1090, ext. 3276, or via e-mail: email@example.com.
To help simplify the report formatting process, please use the NYSERDA Report Template [DOC] when drafting your report.
ADA Accessibility Requirements
Some people need to use assistive technology to read because their disability affects their ability to either see or process printed information. These people will typically use a screen reader to manage written material. The screen or text reader will convert the written words of an electronic document into speech, thus allowing the person with a visual disability to hear the text. The formatting of these documents is critical to the success of the conversion from text to speech. The simpler the documents, the simpler it will be to guarantee accessible Portable Document Format (PDF) files. For detailed instructions on how to create an accessible document please download and refer to NYSERDA's ADA Accessibility Requirements [PDF].
If you would like a NYSERDA logo for use on print, online, or any other purpose, you must first make a request to do so. Fill-out the NYSERDA Logo Request form for permission and access to logos.
