Green Residential Building Program Technician
Expand Your Business
Green Residential Building Program (GRBP) Technicians are hired by building owners to inspect the building and verify that it meets GRBP requirements, including documenting Leadership in Energy Efficiency and Design (LEED®) or National Green Building Standard certification.
The GRBP offers incentives to building owners who demonstrate that a residential building meets specific program requirements outlined in the program guidelines. The building owner is the person who holds title to the residential building on the date the Certificate of Occupancy or Certificate of Completion is issued. For purpose of this program, the owner may be the builder, the homeowner, a housing authority or other such organization.
NYSERDA encourages green building professionals, Home Energy Raters, building performance contractors, or other such individuals to review the Technician qualifications. If interested, please respond to RFQ 15.
The Program is available statewide, and Technicians are needed to provide services in markets throughout New York State. Successful applicants must provide documentation to NYSERDA confirming they have the training and qualifications required by the Program regulations.
Successful applicants will be placed on a list of Technicians who meet Program requirements, which will be accessible to the public on NYSERDA’s Residential Programs.
Respond to RFQ 15 to become a GRBP Technician and learn more about the Green Residential Building Program.
