Notice of Auction

In 2012, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) will be participating in four quarterly regional auctions for the sale of carbon dioxide allowances under the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) in accordance with the CO₂ Allowance Auction Program (Title 21 NYCRR Part 507). The quarterly auctions will be conducted on March 14, June 6, September 5, and December 5, 2012, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. ET respectively.

In each of these auctions, NYSERDA will be making available for sale 14,377,368 allowances per auction from the 2012 Allocation Year. A total of no allowances will be offered for sale in from future vintage years. All parties are eligible to participate in this auction provided they become qualified and meet all other participation requirements by each auction deadline. Applications for participation are available at RGGI.
