Cleaner Greener Communities Phase II Implementation Grants

NYSERDA seeks proposals to implement innovative community-based projects that reduce current greenhouse gas emissions and position New York State’s communities to prepare for a cleaner future while stimulating environmentally sustainable economic growth. By integrating smart growth principles into all aspects of project execution, these innovative and exemplary projects will be holistic in nature, exhibit positive impacts on a large scale, and contribute to an improved quality of life in New York. Project categories include: 1. Streamlined EVSE and PV permitting, 2. Creation or Revision of Comprehensive Plans, and 3. Capital Projects.
Applications for Category 1 will be reviewed starting on July 1, 2013 and until 4:00 PM Eastern Time on September 30, 2014, until funds are exhausted, or until NYSERDA issues a revision to this solicitation, whichever comes first.
Proposals for Category 2 and Category 3 are due by 4:00pm Eastern Time on August 12, 2013.

New Construction Program Financial Incentives |
$90,981,268 is available through this PON to conduct technical assessments of energy efficiency improvements in building designs and to offset a portion of the incremental capital costs to purchase and install energy-efficient equipment in these buildings to reduce energy consumption. Additional incentives and services are offered for buildings that achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) or New York Collaborative for High Performance Schools (NY-CHPS) certification. Applications will be accepted beginning January 4, 2012 through December 31, 2015 or until funds are fully committed, whichever comes first.

FlexTech Program

The FlexTech Program Opportunity Notice (PON) 1746 was formerly known as the Technical Assistance Program PON 1197. The FlexTech Program seeks customers interested in receiving cost-shared analysis of energy efficiency technical evaluations, process improvement analysis, peak-load reduction studies, energy procurement analysis, and development of peak-load curtailment plans (PLCPs) of their existing facilities as well as combined heat & power (CHP) and renewable generation feasibility studies for implementation within existing facilities.
