Climate change has the potential to affect all of New York State, its people, and its varied ecosystems. Public environmental entities and non-profit electricity providers are responding by implementing initiatives to ease the burden to New York.

  • The New York Climate and Health Project, an effort to improve understanding of the relationships among climate variability, weather, air quality, and human health vulnerabilities, focusing on the 31-county New York metropolitan east coast region.
