Project Description

Beam will install one dual Leviton electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) in 28 parking garages in New York City. The garages are owned by a variety of companies. Beam will own and operate the EVSE equipment and pay a fee to the garage owners based upon usage. The project will allow the collection of data on how well temporary garages in New York City will utilize EVSE.

Benefits

The project would increase the availability of EVSE to plug-in electric vehicle owners in New York State and would decrease petroleum use and carbon dioxide emissions.
