Project Description

Coulomb Technologies and National Grid are partnering to commence a project under category A of the EVSE Demonstration Program. The project will deploy and demonstrate 81 dual EVSE charging stations with 162 Level II ChargePoints at various locations in New York State. The project will use two deployment strategies in placing the EVSEs. The first is within the National Grid electric service territory in upstate New York, and the second will be placing EVSEs outside the National Grid electric service territory that have been previously identified.

Benefits

The project would increase the availability of EVSE to plug-in vehicle owners in New York and would decrease petroleum use and carbon dioxide emissions.
