NYSERDA’s Low-rise Residential New Construction Program offers builders and developers a variety of opportunities to differentiate their businesses and meet the demands of the market, inclusive of constructing New York ENERGY STAR® Homes. Financial incentives, as well as technical assistance, are available to Builders in support both ground-up new construction and gut rehabilitation of single family homes and low-rise multifamily buildings. To qualify, gut rehabilitation projects must involve the total rehabilitation of an existing home or building.
