Pre-Qualified incentives are provided to encourage applicants to purchase and install more energy-efficient equipment for small-sized energy projects and equipment replacement projects. These incentives are available on a dollar per unit basis for specified energy efficiency measures (see below).
Applicants can receive up to $30,000 in Pre-Qualified electric incentives, and $30,000 in Pre-Qualified Natural Gas incentives per facility per calendar year.

How to Apply
Applications must be submitted within 90 days after project completion.
- Review the appropriate Pre-Qualified incentive worksheet(s) from the options below to confirm that the equipment you have chosen will meet the eligibility criteria.
- Within 90 days of project completion, complete and submit online a Consolidated Funding Application. Please keep a record of the 5-digit application number.
- Complete the appropriate worksheet(s) from the options below, and gather the supporting documents outlined in the worksheets. Submit these documents to NYSERDA either by attaching them to your online application, or by emailing them to EFPPQAdmin@nyserda.ny.gov. If submitting documentation by email, please reference the associated 5-digit application number.
As of April 1st the Existing Facilities Program’s Pre-Qualified Incentive Worksheets have been revised. NYSERDA will honor the previous pre-qualified worksheets, including discontinued measures, up until July 1st. Please direct all questions to EFPPQAdmin@nyserda.ny.gov.
