Project Description

Energetics will use its knowledge of the electric vehicle industry and its previous experience in planning and implementation of advanced technologies to locate, analyze, summarize and report on information that will be relevant to all tasks under this project. The Team will create a data collection database and protocol based on that used by INL and will collect and analyze data on a regular basis. The Team will develop a technology transfer plan that includes conferences, trainings, and collaboration with local groups that are developing EVSE plans. The Team will develop a regional plan for the siting of EVSE and model building codes and permitting processes.

The project will help NYSERDA collect data from its EVSE demonstration projects to assess their level of success and communicate the successes to key audiences. The project will also assist NYS and the other Northeast states in identifying barriers to EV deployment and strategies for mitigating these barriers. The project is categorized as Information Dissemination in the Metrics Database and the contractor’s success will be measured against metrics such as number of site visits conducted, number of reports produced, and number of outreach events held.
