Energy Analysis was working on estimating future job growth for the upcoming 2013 State Energy Plan. This would presented in the section titled Clean Energy Economy.

In addition to year-long access to renewable energy (RE) reports, the Contract included a special study of New York State Jobs Growth Analysis. The study would provide information on RE and EE job growth in the State, based on refinement of Frost & Sullivan models and data the contractor had completed for the U.S. The contractor's task was to extract New York specific estimates and provide

Benefits

This work provided a second point of reference on New York State RE and EE jobs growth needed for the writing of the State Energy Plan.

Project Results

Frost & Sullivan provided five-year market and job growth forecasts for photovoltaic, wind, smart grid and energy storage for the U.S. and New York State. An appendix described the methodology used to determine the values.
