Dynamic Construction of NNY, LLC

Background

Fort Drum is installing approximately $3 million of solar ventilation air preheating systems on 25 buildings. Conserval Systems, Inc. is supplying the systems (SolarWalls) for these installations. Project Description

Fort Drum, NYSERDA, and Conserval will monitor the performance of the SolarWall located on Building T91 at Fort Drum for one heating season using equipment installed by Dynamic Construction of Northern New York, Conserval Systems and NYSERDA. Fort Drum will analyze data and determine the energy and economic benefits of the SolarWall on Building T91.

Benefits

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory has estimates that the Solarwalls installed at the Fort Drum buildings could generate annual savings of more than $400,000 in natural gas expenses.
