ZeroPoint Clean Tech Inc.


ZeroPoint Clean Tech, Inc. has developed a highly efficient biomass gasification system designed to convert biomass into renewable synthesis gas for the generation of electricity. The system is designed to convert approximately 1.2 tons per hour of clean biomass resources into enough synthesis gas to generate a nominal two MW of electricity. The technology has demonstrated to produce a biomass to synthesis gas conversion efficiency of 85%. There are no air emissions from the system itself and the engine exhaust emissions represent a radical improvement over biomass combustion. The company believes its technological developments will render enzymatic and combustion forms of biomass-to-energy conversion at a competitive disadvantage due to inferior economics and environmental impacts.

Project Description

Zeropoint seeks to build its U.S. market share. The project would include business development, such as creation of marketing material and negation of U.S.-based joint ventures and grant writing. It would also include the funding to hire a chief financial officer and the filing of patents for the company’s intellectual property.


The company's use of New York State-based suppliers allows it to create direct and indirect jobs within the State. Each system sale can generate up to $1 million in revenues throughout the value chain in New York State. The gasification system offers much lower NOx, SO2, and particulate matter emissions than conventional biomass combustion.
