Project Description

This contractor won a competitive bid under program opportunity notice 1686 for solar system incentives for residential projects in New York State. Project implementation required the contractor to meet Federal reporting and U.S. Department of Labor wage guidelines for all projects.

Benefits

Benefits include the provision of solar electric system incentives for PV system sizes not offered by other NYSERDA programs. The competitive bidding process dropped the average system incentive below the current NYSERDA solar incentive.

Project Results

Hudson Valley Clean Energy Inc. (HVCE) completed 35 residential PV installations (350kW) in upstate New York in a timely and professional manner. HVCE was also a NYSERDA eligible installer.
