Industrial and Process Efficiency

As of August 31st, 2014, the Industrial and Process Efficiency (IPE) Program has closed the waiting list for natural gas efficiency projects. All budgeted funds have been committed. Effective immediately, NYSERDA's IPE Program will no longer accept applications for natural gas incentive projects. IPE funds for electric efficiency projects are still available, applications are still being accepted for these projects.

More Than $100 Million Available to Improve Productivity and Your Bottom Line

NYSERDA’s Industrial and Process Efficiency (IPE) Program provides performance-based incentives to manufacturers and data centers implementing energy efficiency and process improvements which will reduce your costs.

IPE's goal is to help manufacturers and data centers increase product output and data processing as efficiently as possible. Therefore, our incentives are calculated, when appropriate, based on a reduction in energy usage per unit of production or workload.

Incentives are available for:

  • New Construction and Existing Facilities
  • Manufacturing Facilities and Data Centers
  • Electricity and Natural Gas Savings
Manufacturers Data Centers

Applications to the Industrial and Process Efficiency Program will be accepted through the Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) on a first-come, first-served basis through 5:00 p.m. ET on December 31, 2015, or until funds are exhausted.
