NYSERDA Building Case Study
In 2002, NYSERDA moved into new office space at 17 Columbia Circle in Albany, and began renovation of the building. In keeping with NYSERDA’s mission “to use innovation and technology to solve some of New York’s most difficult energy and environmental problems in ways that improve the State’s economy,” its workforce strives to exemplify its commitment to helping the State achieve its energy policy goals. The Authority has used its facility to demonstrate best-practices energy management and sustainability principles to lead by example.
